I graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2004. Afterwards I held various posts in hospital, where I gained experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Special needs and Children’s Dentistry. I became a specialist Orthodontist after completing a three years Masters in Orthodontics at Kings College Hospital and the Royal Surrey County Hospital. I also gained my Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
I have always enjoyed working with children and supporting them and their families through treatment, which is why I choose Orthodontics as a specialty. I have vast experience treating nervous and anxious children. I think it is very important to focus on both what the child and parent hope to achieve with braces. Apart from making sure that you are pleased with your smile when the braces ‘come off’, I like to ensure that my patients’ journey through treatment is as comfortable as possible.
